I'm glad Pokemon Clover rewards you for having a bunch of strong Pokemon besides just 6. There are a ton of Pokemon I want to be able to invest in once I get strong enough.

Plus the thing about monster collectors is that there are huge rosters of monsters to pick from. You aren't required to use the ones you don't like and designs hugely disliked by many certainly doesn't stop plenty from still playing and enjoying Pokemon regardless.
