@BLprintheritage @SJTurnerBerlin Nice! Looks similar to the pepper woodcut (and its coloring) in the many editions of Adam Lonicer's Kreutterbuch! Here's the @bsb_munchen 1564 edition, but they were published to 1598 at least!
