Collete had an awesome picture of Dickens and Catwoman (based on the pic below) *which she painted herself*, because she needed something for her opening slide. Amazing. (Don't worry, I've asked her for a copy so I'll show you soon).

So apparently it's #NationalVideoGamesDay - this is something I can get behind. Hard to choose 4 favourites, but they would probably be Broken Sword, Story of Thor, Final Fantasy 7 and Super Mario 3.
After lunch was a brilliantly coherent panel from David Vincent, @marylshannon and Brian Maidment looking at the theatrical and ephemeral success of Paul Pry, Billy Waters and Dusty Bob. #19ctheatrevisuality
You never have to look far in Dickens for a reference to Shakespeare - just now I'm reading of one cold evening, when Dickens is preparing a fire and his Courier enters carrying "such a quantity of fuel that he looks like Birnam Wood taking a winter walk."
Huh. This is a graphic summary of Great Expectations by Edward Carey. I rather like it.
