Track: Passionate Rhythm
Game: Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song
Composer: Kenji Ito
Speaking of flamenco guitar, Kenji Ito also decided that the remake of the first Romancing SaGa should also have one, despite the original having none of it. The game was 200% better for it
Track: Helminia Battle Theme
Game: Octopath Traveler Gacha
Composer: Yasunori Nishiki
I always said Nishiki is the shining light of VGM in recent years. I think he heard me because he decided to prove he was even better than what I could imagine. It's a gacha game dude, CHILL
You had to wait until Covenant of the Plume to have one female heavy warrior, Phiona.
This is so stupid because VP1 had badass female warriors
Some of the art pieces of FFXVI's character designer, Kazuya Takahashi.
He worked on FFXIV ARR and Heavensward before being a part of the FF16 project.
@moofinly The flag sprite is good on its own (and it's animated so it would take forever). My issue is updating elemental sprites to look less pixelated and updating the main menu icons. AI Upscale does a decent job, but it needs a second pass
The SaGa gacha has a collab with SaGa Frontier featuring Blue and Alkaiser among others
Hel from Valkyrie Profile.
She is the queen of Niflheim, the land of the dead. Her role is considerably expanded in Covenant of the Plume, forming a pact with a human to kill the Valkyrie.
If you want to know if the same can be applied to SaGa Frontier 2 despite its watercolor palette, then yes absolutely.
It's only a matter of knowing the right settings and doing some manual retouching on photoshop afterwards
