I think "Thunder God Cid" might be the most badass Final Fantasy character. He is OP in every game he appeared in. He destroyed everyone in FF Tactics, then he came to Brave Exvius and was OP, and then he became a FF14 boss and absolutely obliterated every player

This is such a good design for a JRPG, even today. It's a bit of bishounen mixed with gothic horror with a tinge of christian imagery that works extremely well

Rei Reiho is the most underappreciated SMT badass. Love her style
