Day 1290: Peace of Mind! I really liked tonight's piece. Sadly I've been feeling really sick the past two days, so I haven't been able to do much other than sleep and relax. I hope I can feel better soon so I can get back to work! I have plenty of studying to do ahead of me!

Day 1288: Resting! Another anatomy study. Like the one last night, trying to do studies to help me improve the bigger piece I'm working on. A rather quick study, but the packs from @ImRachelBradley and her husband are amazing and I can always find a useful reference! :D

Day 1285: Rough Draft! I'm actually really happy with how this is turning out. It's taken a few passes to get here, and I'm sure when I have my next session there will bea lot of glaring flaws I need to look at, but the colors and values are heading where I want them to! :D

Day 1284: Final Values! I'm pretty happy with the final pass on the values. I'm sure I can get some good feedback from my mentor next session, but I think I've captured the look I was going for with it. I felt sick today so it was rough to get work done, but I'm making progress!

@MartaNael @Blizzard_Ent This was the first real piece I was super proud of, and it was due to your mentorship. I think it will always be one of my favorites and have a special place in my heart. =P

Day 1283: Color Refined! My vision has been awful recently again which is making it hard to work. Still, the lessons have given me a lot to think about and I have some more exercises I'm going to get done! Plenty of time to just focus while all the isolation is going on.

Day 1281: A Step Back! I had a wonderful session with my mentor today, which helped highlight a lot of weaknesses in my my more finished pieces. It's helped clarify a lot. Tonight is mostly thought experiments I did while I wait for some files to be sent. I'm ready to dig in!

Day 1260: Hands! Eesh, hands man. I fiddled with these quite a bit. Not too happy with how they turned out, but it had been a while so I'm calling it here. Some things worked, but the colors didn't really work out. The forms got muddy. I really need to think harder about my work!

@Jeleynai This actually inspired me to add tattoos to one of my OCs now. Just need to design some. Sigrun could use them for sure. (Art commissioned from eissa nassar)

Day 1250: Rocks! Tonight's was frustrating art wise. It feels like lately nothing I've tried to paint has come together. Something about my process is just off. It feels like I can't get my feet under me and I'm not quite sure why. Hopefully if I keep working I can push through!
