Day 1704: Sitting! I liked it! Experimenting this month with more sketches and maybe values? I'm not quite sure yet. I'll still trying to figure out exactly what I want to do, but I know I want to work on the earlier steps a bit more to free up my ability to sketch, I think!

Day 1702: Captain Marvel! Tonight was another rough result. I got my second vaccine shot, and that left me pretty drowsy so I slept a lot of the day and didn't focus up too well. Still, I finished writing something I had been working on and I'm ready to dig back into art!

Day 1693: Everett Ross! Another simple study. Kinda got away from me at the end, but I needed to call it at some point. I need to stay on track with these and finish off the month strong. I also think I'm going to start doing some more looser sketches each day too.

Day 1690: Star-lord! Another simple study, but I liked this one quite a bit. In terms of these studies, I think I'm getting decent at being able to repeat the results. I need to practice taking this farther soon though. But I have my next goal in mind and I just gotta work on it!

Day 1682: Shuri! I loved this character in the movies, and I hope she gets some attention in the future movies! This was a fun study, and honestly despite my initial proportion issues I had to overlay my way through, it worked out in the end. Just gotta keep practicing.

Day 1675: Antman! One of my better portraits, I think! I'm excited to keep practicing these, because as difficult as they are, I know I'm learning a lot with each one I do. I just gotta keep on working through them and hopefully emerge better when the new month rolls around!

Day 1668: Miles! Tonight did not really work out at all sadly, I couldn't get into the piece, and I couldn't get it to work. Just kinda a mess from start to finish. Still, I'll just try again tomorrow and keep working harder! Plenty on my list to do, so I'll just move on.

Day 1666: Cupcake! A simple study tonight. I was pretty exhausted so I really just powered through this to get something done. Still, I really am liking this process so I'm happy to get through another run of it before I dig into a bigger piece with it! I'm ready to step up!

Day 1659: Lips! I decided to do a simple study tonight, but while working on it I was able to mess around with gradient maps and had some success! I think I have a pretty good idea of how I can use these moving forward and hopefully get back on track with making progress!

Day 1658: Rune! Decided to take a step back a bit an just experiment a little more with overlays. I'm slowly finding a pattern I like with these, frustrations aside. I know I just gotta keep chipping away at it and it'll eventually come together and I'll make good results soon.
