Yesterday was hectic, but now I'm back in the Netherlands!
Anyway, the faces for the plank are going as well as applying a cheese grater to the head... I knew UVs are tricky, but it's more apparent that Maya's unfold tool is rather unreliable.
No progress today, but I drew something I had in my head for a good while. You know those anime girls that are based on existing animals and objects? Well, this is the Banjo-Kazooie Beehive version of that!
I'm on the last leg for the path tiles! I think this is all I'll handle for now until I get more information. Next up, I'll handle a little grass under the broken bridge and deal with the UVs of the bridge itself.
While this doesn't look like much progress, rest assured that I'm still hard at work. Beside, some of this is slightly tricky.
I was out of the house most of the day, so I barely had time to work on this.
I'm spending a good amount of time trying to get the road tiles complete. This may take a bit due to the UVs.
I'm almost ready with my King K. Rool redesign concept. I realize I could do better with the shading and polishing, but I'm more fixated on showcasing my person spin on his design. Hopefully, I'll create a refined version in the future.
I'm holding off on Paper Mario progress because I was working on something I wanted to try since the Smash direct.
He's still not ready, though...
I still have plenty of work to do on this, but not only am I getting over a bad "sickness," but I also won't have a steady work station for the next couple of days. I'm heading on a plane back to the states for most of August, so I'll deal with that.
