@TomAznable I can agree with that in terms of mass produced low-hanging-fruit merch as quick money grabs.

Though as a broad concept, remixing ideas and IPs can still introduce interesting things we may never have considered.

Still have the tapes and can tell I watched the heck out of them. Very worn down.

If you want to compare apples to apples, FLCL (2000) and Space Dandy (2014) have more in common. They're a complete contained experiment. They don't need remakes or installments.

The take away should be "Use this as inspiration and make your own ideas" not "make more sequels."
