Here's the shader for those interested, it's super simpel.
I'm not using a pixel shader because I'm using a texture atlas for the tiles, sampling with a sin offset would start to move into other tiles pixels.

Instead of baphomet's beast form, a transformed version of the goddess inside the sphere would be the end boss in #SpiritSphereDX originally. In the end I thought it would make more sense to fight the actual bad guy.
