Has anyone ever written a story, perhaps a spinoff or later installment in a series, where the villain is the main character?

I currently am and I believe the experience should prove to be an infernal one ;)

Today’s chapter was the longest opening of any manuscript I’ve written thus far, coming in at 48 pages. This doesn’t bode well for a 28 chapter book, but no one said the journey through the 3 hells would be a short one.

Deep in the pits of the middle realms, the spider sits in her lair. Playing tunes with her webs to lure in her meals. And when she's feeling particularly ravenous, she'll send her servants on the hunt.

Some of you may know I write well ahead of what is getting ready to publish. As one manuscript is being returned, something else is brewing...something more expansive and diabolical than anything I’ve written before. More to come tomorrow...

After a quick search, I came across a creature known as the Muldjewangk. A giant breed of merfolk that hides under clumps of floating seaweed and destroy anyone that crosses into their territory. It's a tale told to children to keep them from playing in the river after dark.

Day 2 of editing Raging Elementals was a strenuous one. Themes desperately needed to reworked and I ache trying to find good writing descriptors for frightened eyes. Alas, these issues should be resolved long before the final copy reaches you.

Day 1 of editing Raging Elementals sees minor changes. But imperative ones, nonetheless. I remove the accidental omniscience and I revel in the accidental foreshadowing. Oh, and more creative language.
