When I’m not writing books or watching anime, I really enjoy playing #MagicTheGathering . I’ve always admired the evocative and sometimes grim art they produce. Also, the gameplay is unmatched among card games I’ve played. Right now, I’m loving my Sheoldred Shadowborn deck.
I will never trust anime reviews when the title on the left got negative scores while the right got positive scores. 😒
I just finished watching both seasons of this fantastic anime. If you like gothic settings and mystery plots, this Peter Pan inspired story of children rebelling against the tyranny of adults is for you! Now..., I wait for the inevitable season 3.
We’re getting a lot of interesting new anime these days. A remake from the 80’s, a huge influx of sequels we never thought we’d get, and now this. I’ve never played the game, so I don’t know what to expect. Still, it seems promising…
Bofuri’s getting a season 2, and I’m not sure what to think about that. It stars a classically Mary Sue character, so I’m sure the sequel will only capitalize on that. What does everyone think of characters like these?
The sequel to one of the most hated anime on the last 5 years starts airing next week. It’s happening…and I have to say I’m really impressed by the creator’s unabashed indifference towards the rejection they received from the anime community.
For those who don’t know, I’m a pretty big fan of Magic: The Gathering. Looking at the previews from this set, they’re about as artifact heavy as I expected. I don’t typically play artifact decks (save for Magda), but some of these will be tough to pass up!
For anyone wondering which anime titles I was complaining about yesterday, these are the culprits. On the left, a brutally generic Isekai that makes no effort to be original in a super competitive sub genre. On the right, an ultra echi that crosses the line into pornography.
I’m pretty disappointed to see 2 of my favorite bands release very bland/so so albums this month. Maybe it’s just me, but I really couldn’t get into either of them.
So many bad #anime are getting sequels these days, so this is a welcome change of pace. Bring it on!
