Apologies for the lack of activity today. A 35 page chapter turned into a 50 page chapter. But, it's alright. The impromptu dragon scene needed to be there. I swear.

We all know of the mermaid. The sirens, as well. But, are you familiar with the Melusine of french #mythology? She's often depicted as having the lower half of a fish. With 2 tails and wings. And she was cursed by her mother to take this form every Saturday. #WritingCommunity

The chapter I wrote yesterday offered much more of a recap and less of a parallel to what was written earlier in the week. I must say, it was a breath of fresh air, ironically. Giving the characters that level of reflection.

Today, I had my first full day of writing in 4 months. And I have to say I feel quite rejuvenated. Like a fire has been ignited. And I can’t wait to pick up wher I left off. Seeing where the story takes me next.
