Diving into spring! 🌱

@affinitybyserif asked me to create this lush #illustration to celebrate the free 1.8 update of their Affinity suite. Using both their iPad and desktop apps, I recorded a video of the complete #process which I’ll share with you soon!

How to make science attractive and accessible to ‘regular’ people?

This was the challenge Fieldnotes wanted to tackle for @UAntwerpen and @destandaard, and I was asked to assist by creating these fun #editorialillustrations about citizen participation in scientific research. 👩‍🌾

One part of the spot series was to draw illustrations that could accompany book lists the organisation had created to arrange books in different topics to help find readers the books they were looking for. Here are some more!

More of the #boekenzoeker project I did for @iedereenleest! Next to the campaign visuals and the website headers I also did a bunch of small spot illustrations around different literary themes to brighten up different sections of the website.

It has been some years since I last braved the ice rink, but I do vividly remember all the different types of people you would bump into over there. So when I was asked to do the December cover for UiT in @Turnhout I knew immediately what scene I wanted to put on the cover. ⛸

Had some fun creating two small visuals to create the look for a new explorative festival in Liège!

Austral Boreal Festival takes place two times a year, combining elements of travel, zero-waste and local food with music, creating two universes: Austral and Boreal.

A private client commissioned me to create three large portraits inspired by three absolute legends in the world of jazz and bebop.

First of the series and perhaps my favourite is inspired by the mesmerising Billie Holiday, one of the most influential singers in jazz history. 🌸

There’s something really refreshing about figuring out how to paint a subject for the first time. So getting to paint the Cygnus Wall nebula for BBC @skyatnightmag was an absolute treat. ✨
