Both the philosophers Ludwig Wittgenstein & Bertrand Russell said that their favorite book from childhood was Alice in Wonderland. Wittgenstein includes Lewis Carroll in his Philosophical Investigations. Russell was nicknamed the "Mad Hatter" because he resembled the character.
