Whenever someone on social media tells me they would love to be friend, I always think they would be disappointed because I am extremely shy & introverted & solitary by nature. Although I abhor small talk, I love one-on-one conversations.

Children have deep, rich, imaginative interior lives and really great kid's literature reflects this. I love how books written for them acknowledge how difficult the world can be but do not give in to despair but offer the reader hope.

@sophieinspace I really love the Hilda graphic novel series by @thatlukeperson as well as the Netflix series based on them.
What I love about fairy tales, folklore & mythology is they tell us who we are, who we were & something about the lands & the people we came from. They reveal our deepest fears & wishes, dreams & desires. These tales speak about our struggles & the longing for hope.
