I want to make a gift for a friend so I'm drawing Ghibli characters...
Tried using the felt pen in CSP and it's fun to use! Here's Baron.
Here he is with some other critters (including the red butterfly).
But yeah, like I doodled below bees and butterflies are friendly to him, and he also has pet frogs. He's really good with animals since he's so gentle.
Metal arm is painted!
Changed the base color to a dull green to try and reflect the bg color this time around. I'm liking how it looks.
Lol just realized the thumb was off when I got back to work on this.
Flat colors are applied and will be working on shading now! I'm going to be using a desaturated brown for Bedi's hair again.
Some of the chibi Bedis I've made so far. Hm, should draw more of him wearing his actual armor.
can't work on new art since I'm resting my right arm again, but hopefully can work on something new soon.
The progress for this one! I ended up making them a bit too big when I finally did the line art whoops. Probably should have pulled it back a little. But the important part is them gently touching hands, so I did a lot of work making that blue sketch to get it right.
That's four weeks with a BediGuda art for each one (and actually doing more Gudao too!)
Still learning how to do really good ship art, this week's pose was especially difficult but even if it has errors, actually drawing these is helping me learn.
Chibi Bedi because I absolutely cannot rest today without finishing this
But I still need to work on drawing deformed chibis, proportions still feel a little off to me.
Color theming is sort of like desserts I guess. Chocolate and strawberry colors?
it's too soon for Valentines art what am I doing
Oh well. This week's Bediguda is a forehead kiss.
