I do realize I keep coloring Bedi's hair purely gray then adding lighter shades, I'll try making the base a desaturated brown this time to mimic the way it looks in the game art a bit more.
Sometimes I don't get the face quite right until I'm finally on the colors. It's fun seeing how the blob faces become better with each stage.
A little painting attempt but I wasn't feeling it enough. It's Chiito from Girls' Last Tour.
The music of this anime is really good, I especially love Owari no Uta.
There's a few others concepts I had that I do want to work on some more, but just something about the veil and this dress really appeals to me.
She travels the worlds collecting and recording stories, more like a personification of wisdom than anything else. She's pretty nice, actually, just don't look too hard into what she may know.
wips where I am once more doing pretty hair line art haha
For comparison, this is the hug art I did last year with Gudako.
Trying to draw more Fujimaru/Gudao this year to switch things up, but whichever Guda I may draw, I still like both of them very much.
Feels like I have yet to really grasp shading skin, but it does help to compare between the flat colors and what I'm currently doing to see that what I'm doing brings a bit more life to the illustration.
...I still can't help but put a little blush though.
Played around with the colors for the screenshot redraw I did, mostly just to see what it looks like with normal skin color. Making the line art light brown brings such a soft look to an artwork, huh?
Left is how I originally did it, right is tweaked colors.
She's a healer but...
Given how many sharp items she's carrying, you best not be provoking her, or she'll be using Shearious Business.
That's what she calls her magical scissors.
