Last art for the year~
Bedivere offers you all some flowers - you made it to the end of this year, and it is my wish that the next year treats you all with kindness.
@ArtsyLizzy82 I do a similar process, I sketch the hair shape first and then indicate hair strands with the colors! I'm a big fan of flowy lines like in this game art, though, so even though it's harder to color I can't help but go all out on the line art.
Flower colors are detailed, just need to work on the rest tomorrow.
It looks awkward for a bouquet but at least it looks better with some colors on. Something to work on next year is drawing better flowers!
They run a delivery business together, Sieg handling stuff on the ground while Astolfo does the actual delivery by flying on Hippogriff.
I imagine it gets freezing flying about in winter, so Sieg makes sure Astolfo never forgets his coat.
Don't forget your cloak when flying out there, it's cold!

Trying to do a screenshot redraw!
Seeing Bedivere smile in this scene, with the soft morning light, always makes me teary-eyed.
I wonder if I can pull off the lighting though.
I really should make more fanart, but as it is, Egglia's art is definitely something I aspire to. Drawing these fanart of my favorite Spirits (Adrys and Ondine) really helped me push my artistic skills some more, and I'm so thankful for the inspiration!
As it turns out, having a favorite character with a prosthetic arm is great motivation to improve on drawing hands. I made the 1st piece early this year as a reference for myself!
Still have room for improvement, but I really like how I've been doing it lately.
3 minutes vs. 5-6 hours
Sketches have so much fun energy to them that can't translate to the final illustration.
