I first started painting character portraits for friends from my Pathfinder campaign in early 2020 - I'd been mostly working as an art teacher, watercolor artist (local Korean brands) and storyboard illustrator before jumping into these.

Before painting this dragon, I experimented a bit with different shapes and fish inspirations. Here's a more Korean style one, inspired by statues here and Betta fish ✨

Kept the Hanbok colors very simple but added a colorful point with the blue Norigae 💙
