One thing I played with in this painting: Focus and blur. The eye in the light, for example, is much more detailed than the slightly blurry one in the shadows.

Still need to paint the hair and add details around the eyes - and freckles! Half-Drow skin is very sensitive to sun exposure, after all. 💜
