Anyway this would create the New Blood people who got powers because of these weird aliens and most of them would fails as solo acts, or hell even a team, the Alien thing is not the biggest deal ever, because the thing is this is mostly used to explain their powers.

Now some of these characters are terrible, but some of them are better then average and have potential, but in a couple year or two time after we would get a new Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Starman would begin Azreal Batman was a thing! DC was doing big things.

I do enjoy the side material of Zone of the enders as a whole, at times it can come off as a self aware Gundam but it did try to tell unique stories using that framework, I think doloris I still has the only single father mecha pilot trucker.
