Doesn't hurt that Elektra's in general has had fucking amazing artists work with her. Hey Yoshitaka Amano Loved your Elektra illustrated prose novel. Like her old costume just has led to very striking visuals from SO MANY great artists that I'm like FUCK don't change it.

Eclipsa is added in but she ends up only really mattering in the endgame of the season. While I like aspects of her she reminds me Kate Beaton's brand of humor and I kind of cringe a little. I get the point but I wished she was used more to more unique effect.

Like people blame Image for it, but Vertigo and a lot of publisher weren't better. Image was a teenage action darkness, Vertigo was more of a bitter teen mad at the state of the world darkness. Edgy but different types of Edgy, many of these books are good just saying.
