okay it wasn't a perfect era, you had Team America come on, but all the major titles were written well, even the TOY tie ins like GI Joe, Rom, Micronaughts were WELL LOVED TITLES from this era, basically as a fan of the now....reading it can be like a greatest hit album.....but..
@somerandomwill1 @hatmanshade @DanGuy96 The nasty Ennis stuff is actually reserved for the Villain of the arc.....
Again tone helps look at this sequence where Oliver is begging his soul to come back and actually take responsibility and sacrificing his eternal happiness to save HIS SON. It's much more different then Hal and Barry have to returns to take their place.
A little remembered but shockingly important Spider-Man comic(it basically torpedoed the lizard as a character for a while) the artist is Scott sava he was a big proponent of trying that style but it never took off but guy is legit a good artist https://t.co/fCBT9lbgOA
Depends on the artist the worst he looked was in the mini series quality of life https://t.co/DIkSgbIKDd
Man I wonder what Frank was referencing when he had a doctor with a German sounding named that starts a W tears down Batman as a bad influence and uses him to give himself fame and a platform? I wonder…..
She did get a new show and I like it better then the comic, I feel like this is the tone it should have been and it feels more it's own thing while still being a bit Marvel.
Okay joke mode over, this was a odd choice in how to sell the character, the book is at it's core an all ages title in a universe meant for teens and up, Marvel stopped doing all age books.
I honestly really like this pitch, it was an attempt to make a modern version and I was trying to go for a Shonen/superhero mix. I actually SAW some lion maru episodes and all of G so I wanted something that could get that feel of those shows. It wasn't picked but hey.
