If you want a good example of gay characters in comics one of the worst x-men runs has ONE really good issue 414 of Uncanny X-men is about Northstar trying to help a mutant whose power is killing him and being there for him in his final moments.
because honestly I just find the concept of an entire Vampire Justice league boring.
Let's make them all a different monster.
*Frankenstein Wonder woman
*Martian Mummy
*Green Lantern erdritch abomination
*Gillman Aquaman
*Invisible Flash
It's WRITES ITSELF.
@BitchtheGreat1 @TheMorlock The villains got a nice little side manga.
@KroneckrDeltaPi To be fair she’s also has a bit of Diane lane from streets of fire.
at the end of the day Warren got distracted by shit, his own mystique, tv, his various "relationships" and didn't really cultivate a good body of work like say other creators, say what you will about Ed being the pulp noir comic guy...he has so much more finished work.
*Fell is finally going to get finished
and thus begins the Warren Ellis goodwill tour, I'm sure Doctor Sleepless, Injections, Trees, New Universeal, The Wildstrom spin offs, Grayshirt, Desolation Jones, Gravel will be next.
*cartoons that wern't
*Cow and Chicken were REALLY hit or miss for me as a kid so if it was a "bad episode" I skipped it.
"It's mainstream now because we the writers have heard of it, and not just paying attention of other avenues of media"
Honestly, you can tell when something went mainstream when they parody it on tv, that means normies are more likely to get the references and parody. https://t.co/yMOMIWr5Md
@Jack_S_Wolfman I enjoyed it when it was going on. Some decent ecchi and solid action work for the most part. I would say it's a good B manga if there ever was one. I read it as a teen so some nostalgia bias might play into it.
