Next story would being with this image and while this is an iconic superman pose this would be later used for Superman number 1

Issue 9 introduces the first guy who is trying to take out Superman a normal man Detective Reily would not show up again I believe.

But issue 6....does introduce....THE POSE......like come on this is one of the most classic Superman poses of all time I had to note it.

Issue 6 would also....retroactively aka were looking at one of the first BIG retcons of comics, Jimmy Olsen, Jimmy here was NOT meant to be Jimmy but do...being kind of similar he was labeled as Jimmy in later books...but....

Superman was also not completely invincible. Early on he has shown fear about death and it seems like something strong could kill him....like a train. The power creep would set in over the decades.

Superman early on didn't fight a lot of villains on his level, he fought owners of big business and the like and one thing to note, he was a FAN of putting them in ironic situations, like making a weapons manufacture know what WAR is actually like for a soldier.

Now a couple things to note, Superman does NOT live in Metropolis yet, right now he is good old Cleveland OHIO, and he works for the Daily Star, and....that' not Perry White. George Taylor would be changed out to match the radio version later.

Lois Lane is in the first story making her ONE of the oldest most consistent comics characters of all time. The Lois Lane Clark dynamic is one of the most important dynamics in comics and Lois would INSPIRE countless love interests.
