Cry for Justice is another one, kind of a forgotten one, but this one was so self serious that it came off as funny more then important.
Seanbaby is an old gaming magazine internet dude I used to read because I didn't have taste back in the day. Think Nostalgia Critic as a frat boy but you had to read it and you kind of get the gist. Aquaman was a punching bag of his.
in the 80's he got a costume as well it's a costume I actually enjoy, but not a lot of fans did. Either way Aquaman did not have an ongoing in the 60's and his comic rep took another hit before this.
so guys Superfriends lasted in some form from 1973-1985, with reruns, this was many kids major exposure to these characters, guys for many people this is the only new Flash, Green Lantern and OTHER heroes media for a long time,
yeah so Aquaman in comics was not a big deal, he was a member of the Justice League but it took a bit before he got anywhere, still Aquaman did get a comic solo. In the 1960's and it created a bunch of iconic elements and lore so he did get there...just took 20 years.
It actually goes back to the 40's, see while some people don't know that Namor came first, when Aquaman was created he was looked to as Boring Namor, and that's a fair description.
with that said how did I find this comic, my friend found the first chapter on a certain cite and looked up the creator because he knew who it was, he then got into the patreon, found the Gumroad account and bought all the chapters.
