My favorite genre of mecha design is the one where the designers try to make there designs impossible for toys...they always fail,

like if you read Ennis your probably going to get as much as a complete story as possible at least his major work, while Ellis has finished comics around the 2000s he just started to drop things left and right at any annoying pace and then make something new.

Now both men have a huge backlog of stuff but there is also one critical difference with both men, Ennis has MORE FINISHED comic runs then Ellis. Like you don't know how many comics Ellis has started but NEVER finished or followed up on. Ennis boy that guy finishes.

Now Ellis has done his own Superhero deconstruction trilogy that should gets it's own take, but I will say something about it, it's less human overall, Ellis is more writing about ideas and themes then about characters. In contrast to the boys...

but other major characters is just Ellis wrote shorter runs with more established characters, Ellis wrote ultimate comics for one, and he doesn't do that many pisstakes about the Superhero genre, in fact I would even say for the most part Ellis majority of superhero work is okay.
