i promised myself i'd avoid lined art as much as possible since i'm way more comfortable with lineless, but i wanted to attempt to emulate sugimori's style a little bit. it's definitely not my best work, but i'd be willing to try again now that i understand what i did wrong.

Cactus Bugs are small herbivores with plant life growing from their shells. They use these cacti both as food and protection, as it can be swung around to fend off possible predators.

Sludgehogs are distant relatives of Slughogs that are very territorial and aggressive. They can be recognized by their opaque, tar-like bodies. Their several tentacles are able to stretch dozens of feet in length, and can absorb any organic matter they touch to grow larger.

Starlight Void Dragons are beings beyond conventional understanding of the universe. They reside within their own pocket dimension, and can phase in and out of reality at will. They are also able to manipulate these rifts to wield them as weapons, making them deadly foes.
