The Shadow Order is another group, similar to the Cult of Emptiness. However, they actually work in secret to fight off the Cult's slow expansion around the world. When the Cult of Emptiness became active again, this group sprang back up to hold them back.

Despite releasing them all around the world, members of the Cult of Emptiness can still be taken over by their own creatures. When that happens, they become Empty- a horrible trait that removes every last bit of humanity left in the affected creature.

The leader of the Cult of Emptiness is no small threat. The razor-sharp claws on their robes can slice through nearly any armor, though they are not immune to the mind-warping from their own creatures.

Ebrallassi's adventuring companion Bartholomew was found heavily wounded in the wild, left behind by his pack and hurt from encounters with hunters. Ebrallassi was able to heal him, and he's been by his side ever since.
