While researching the last topic I found an arguably more interesting fact. There was an unused class for PvZ GW called "The Gravedigger". This was before the Scientist had been made and was armed with a shotgun and could "plant" graves that spawned AI Zombies.

Cattail was basically completely based off of composer Laura Shigihara. She owned a pink cat hat that is shown on the design of the original Cattail. Cattail is also shown next to her name at the end of the Zombie on Your Lawn performance.

On the driftwood shores map in Plants vs Zombies garden warfare,you can find a ship named "king of red dandelions".This is a reference to the ship link used in The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker which is named "The king of red lions"

Plants vs zombies heroes had an event called (mission)REd Alert and was made to celebrate games for RED event and it would force you to use rose and a pre-selected deck however it is no longer playable.

It also introduced red stinger into the game

Interestingly Wannabe Hero's outfit is based on the Garden Warfare 2 Super Brainz and not the Super Brainz in pvz heroes who has orange instead of yellow

Chomper is the only plant throughout the series to not have any visible eyes. This is because he is without flaw.

In PvZ1, Crazy Dave mentions a character named Harvey Flaxcaster. He has no real identity beyond that and was never mentioned in any PvZ game again.
