Day 27 -- Chocolate
Food offerings to the fae were often left outside during harvest festivals by children of the Fallows. Fresh produce and baked goods were traditional, but rumor had it that the fae liked sweets most of all.
Day 24 -- Antique
Belladonna's broomstick might not be the latest model, but it had been passed down through generations of witches in her family... from a time before speed regulations on broom-powering magic had been put in place.
This race would be a cinch.
Day 23 -- Rattle
To save from wasting firebreath, some wyverns developed other methods of warning potential threats from drawing too close.
Day 22 -- Acorn
Some trees in Stag's Run famously grew to towering heights. In the spring, travelers would gather from regions around the world to marvel at their beauty; in the fall, simply standing in these forests without head protection could result in a concussion.
Day 18 -- Monster
Don't let anyone ever tell you werewolves don't have terrible table manners.
Day 16 -- Magic
Well, that wasn't the first time Amer had cast the wrong spell by mistake, but damned if he was going to admit to anyone that he needed glasses. And anyway, it wasn't his fault the 'fog' spell was listed right next to the 'frog' one.
Day 15 -- Pumpkin
Aunt Gertrude had seemed unusually chipper since Uncle Howden died, but to hear her tell it, the baking helped her cope.
Day 14 -- Candy Apple
Festivals in the more diverse towns of Stag's Run tended to offer treats for a wide range of dietary preferences, but some were more of an acquired taste than others.
"Next time I ask if I can have a bite of yours, say no."
"Ditto."
The duality of man...
Commission for @/Arekan_, thanks again for ordering bud 🎃
Day 12 -- Foliage
Most flowers were too big for fairies to exchange, but brightly-colored leaves were the perfect size to make into bouquets.
