Day 11 -- Insect
Cottonants made for a reliable source of textile fiber, but shearing them wasn't the most efficient process.
Day 10 -- Harvest
Piskiefruits only ripened for a couple of weeks each year, and everyone knew the best ones were the hardest to reach.
Day 9 -- Eyeball
Birds are the least-distrusted wildlife in the Fallows, given that there are very few birdlike fae. But a few exist, here and there.
Day 8 -- Mushroom
A well-camouflaged imp is an imp that lives to steal the contents of another hapless traveler's pockets.
Day 7 -- Mask
The popular belief in the Fallows was that malicious fae would never approach while being watched.
Day 6 -- Skeleton
"Oh gross, it's one of those skeleton janitors again. Just keep walking, don't make eye contact--NO DON'T WAVE AT IT--"
Day 4 -- Candy corn
This certainly wasn't the worst blight the fae had caused, but all the corn turning to rock candy overnight was certainly a new one. Such happenings were an occupational hazard of farmers in the Fallows.
Day 3 -- Black
Oh... well, that looks pretty permanent. Lesson learned: don’t leave the jar of holes sitting around with the lid off.
Day 1 -- Stormy
Ghosts didn’t get wet in the rain, but that didn’t stop one from being able to appreciate staying indoors during a storm.
