Turn out that the Tommy Sonic saved was actually an infiltrator robot built by Eggman. He try’s to attack Sonic in his sleep but Jules stops him almost costing him his life. Using a power ring they are able to save him.

Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 135

After getting a message from Tommy Turtle (Who way presumed dead) that he has information of Robotnik, Sonic heads into the forbidden zone to meet him. He tells Sonic that somehow people are being robotized again just as they are attacked.

This is a rather infamous issue. Sonic still recovering from an injury during the raid attends a welcome home celebration. During this celebration it is announced the in the absence of the King and Queen that Sally will be in charge.

Our first story is a Star Wars episode 1 style race that Sonic wins. The second has Sonic reaching a cosmic structure. He goes to a court hearing and finds the person on trail is the reason everyone was deroboticized a while back.

With the help of Robotnik, Sonic is able to stop the Xorda ship but not before they launch a weapon that with cause a black hole if they don’t stop it. Every faction on Mobius comes together to help stop this, even Knuckles comes back from the dead.

Shadow returns just in time. After being knocked back to Mobius the Freedom Fighters find him. As they are trying to figure out what is going on they get a transmission from Robotnik saying that his city is under attack by mysterious ships.

Our first story has Mina joining the Freedom Fighters to get closer to Sonic but it doesn’t end up working out. The second story has Mighty telling Julie-Su how he met Knuckles.

Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 119

Sonic and Tails team up to stop a new and improved Caterkiller from wiping out Knothole. The second story sees Bunnie trapped by the Sand Blast Freedom Fighters but she is able to fight her want out.
