While I'm not doing any game jams I decided to fix my Hu Tao fanart since it was done a bit lazily the first time. I also wanted to apply some of the new skills I've acquired from art studies to see what difference it'd make.

The Halloween-themed visual novel I worked on with a team is finally up on itch: https://t.co/zLMppt74Aa
Development took longer than anticipated so it wasn't submitted to the jam we originally intended. But I found a different jam meant to revive projects to post it to

Here's the 22nd style I've tried with my character Myra. This and the previous few are attempts at finding a suitable style for making dialogue portraits for an upcoming jam I'll be joining. It's a Halloween-themed visual novel jam so I think this bold, rugged style might be it
Recently I've come to the realization that the reason I'm often not satisfied with my illustrations is the dull expressions. So I've drawn my OC Myra looking a little miffed. Maybe about to tear somebody a new one. Now I want to experiment with expressive styles more.

Here's my character Myra in 10 different styles numbered in the order that they were drawn. I wanted to do more but I was starting to get sick of looking at this document and as a result, I got lazy with a few of these. Plus the canvas size was getting out of hand.

I've been experimenting with my style again off and on between projects. I wanted to create something similar to the soft, whimsical illustrations I see occasionally. I think the result is one of the most unique styles I've created.
My Frog game placed 90th out of 302 entries, probably because it's a short experiment, but players had fun with it and a couple even showed off their final scores. So now I'm planning out a full game starting with reworking the character's design.

I've been thinking of making a frog-themed game and I came across a game jam centered around Frogs yesterday. So it seemed like a perfect time to start. So far I've worked out my character's design. It'll probably change again.

I continued with my style experimentation and decided to try stylizing anatomy in the 4th style. I think I'll work on this document for awhile and eventually try to fit these illustrations into a cohesive piece.
The eyes were bothering me on the last drawing I did so I redid them. I think this is a huge improvement.
