For today I drew two of my favorite Shigeru Mizuki characters, Akuma-kun and Mephisto. The Shonen Magazine version is probably the most iconic incarnation, but I find the concept for the original rental book version particularly fascinating! #水木しげる #悪魔くん

Ok, guys, I finished it. And honestly, what a difference! I can't post much else or we would get into spoiler territory, but this is not the Kikaider 01 everyone watched back in the day. The last episode was something else, the level of detail was amazing. I have no words.

But I still recommend everyone to watch it! @eryncerise did a great job covering the 1971 anime, Ecchan has a very rich publication history and I'm glad I was able to cover it all! I think you all can tell how much I love Ecchan by the amount of art tributes I made for her alone!
