My art for today is Ann Doll from Shotaro Ishinomori's Guy Punch Series. She's the android assistant of detective Guy Punch. She was originally a minor character, but started showing up more and more due to her popularity. #石ノ森章太郎 #石森章太郎 #ガイパンチシリーズ

For today I drew two of my favorite Shigeru Mizuki characters, Akuma-kun and Mephisto. The Shonen Magazine version is probably the most iconic incarnation, but I find the concept for the original rental book version particularly fascinating! #水木しげる #悪魔くん

Ok, guys, I finished it. And honestly, what a difference! I can't post much else or we would get into spoiler territory, but this is not the Kikaider 01 everyone watched back in the day. The last episode was something else, the level of detail was amazing. I have no words.

Here's my brand new commission for Elia Veloso. The first one of two she commissioned me to do! It's Jiro from Kikaider and her original character Eri during springtime, watching the sakura blossoms together with Tamako and Higuma! Colors by Ruby

But I still recommend everyone to watch it! @eryncerise did a great job covering the 1971 anime, Ecchan has a very rich publication history and I'm glad I was able to cover it all! I think you all can tell how much I love Ecchan by the amount of art tributes I made for her alone!

Back in the 1980s, there were remakes of a lot of classic magical girl shows like Mahoutsukai Sally and Himitsu no Akko-Chan. I always wanted to see Sarutobi Ecchan make a come back! So here's an 80s touch on Ecchan characters! Colors by Ruby #石ノ森章太郎 #さるとびエッちゃん

Some redesigns for GR Number 5. A somewhat obscure series created by Shotaro Ishinomori in the mid-'70s, which is mostly known for being one of his Group Hero series like Shonen Domei and Cyborg 009! Colors by Ruby! #石ノ森章太郎 #石森章太郎 #GＲナンバー5

Saw some people doing this challenge and it sounded fun! Here's Apple Face and Mr. U's rivalry as portrayed by three different eras of my life!
