By the way, everyone should check out Naoyuki Konno's 009-1. It's not some fan service anime or a spin-off of Cyborg 009 as many people were lead to believe. It's possibly the most underrated Ishinomori adaptation to date. Konno really put a lot of passion into it and it shows.

@ruby_ruberri This take was inspired by both the original TV series and the Shonen Magazine manga version. I personally like the two versions for different reasons. TV has my favorite rendition of Miki and I feel like her relationship with Akira is more fleshed out in this version's story.
