When Hydreef evolves into Kraidreef, its serpentine body becomes more stocky and the bumps on it become rudders. This energetic Water-type enjoys charging forward by spinning, using the three rudders on its tail to both maintain stability and generate a current to propel it.

The evolution of Agaphyll, Volafrill is able to glide for short distances by spreading out its legs and jumping. The frill collar around its neck flares outwards to take in more sunlight, allowing it to photosynthesize when prey is scarce.
