More experiments and animal drawing

Painted some mallards. Tried a couple of new brushes. I like the sharp ink brush and the toothbrush sprinkles :P

Idea from @GeersArt's stream rambles: start w/ thumbnail, zoom in a small step once satisfied, repeat until done

Progress! Yesterday's sketch helped. Finishing tomorrow. Seems easier to focus on the painting during no mic streams

Picking details based on contrast seems to have the most impact. Relatively messy still, but looks very detailed.

Tried zoomed out big strokes on locked alpha layers. Better early read, but messy. Trying to clean up tomorrow.

Issue was mostly with value, not with color. Linear gamma makes it hard to go dark, need to remember to check values

Having some weird trouble with this one, repainted it a few times without much success. Going to continue it tomorrow

Face studies continue. Tried using reduced brush opacity to work the subtler details. Much easier to control!

Face practice begins! Much harder than it looks. Managed to do zero painted in color like I intended. Tomorrow... :o
