But since I kept it going it is now time to kick off what will be the driving force for the rest of the series. We are introduced to the main villain of the series: Queen Clematis.

I love doing super cartoon-y panels like this. I wish I could have done more of them in 6 Petals, and I hope to do more of them in future projects.

In the original one-shot version Riley's weapon never evolved, it was just a basic hammer and that was the joke. But since the series was gonna keep going Riley would need to up his game to get on the rest of the team's level.

He may be goofy, but you need to know that he is still a villain. I hope this guy learns his lesson.

One of the most fun aspects of part 1 and 2 are showing Riley being a novice and figuring out how to do stuff with his powers. I had this bit really strong in my head but I wasn't sure how to best convey it. I hope this panel reads bottom to top to anyone who read it...
