My main personal project goes under WIP name "borscht", where i put everything i've learned into proving just how detailed the environments of an NES game can be using a classic mapper. All it takes is work, time, and careful consideration.
Thanks for 11k followers. 🌷
For those new, i'd like to introduce my work a bit more properly.
I'm basically making new NES games, or sometimes just graphics, and the tools required.
Sometimes i work with others, sometimes alone.
Hi, i'm Ellen! I make NES games & tools. My goal is to show the NES can have gfx prettier than commercial constraints of the 80s/90s let on.
But, i've got to eat & keep a roof. If you'd like to support me in my quest, please consider joining my patreon.

It's apparently #portfolioday so here goes.
I do NES graphics, animation & game/level design. Usually targeting the actual NES console but does related work too.
@JiskeyJasket Guardian Legend? Ample room for your own interpretation. These were just top of google
100% NES compatible. For Halcyon.
Actually one long corridor, had to split it up to be more tweet friendly.
My personal big solo project doesn't have a formal name, but i call it "borscht" in the meantime. It's been going steadily in one form or another since 2017.

New art drop! 9 NES viewable screens worth of level.
More or less what's going into the Halcyon level design right now. There'll be adjustments along the whole road to completion.
