Thoughts from reading a bit of Archie Sonic - Art style is everything. The furry soap opera melodrama is cringe when drawn by Butler, but when Jon Grey steps in it works so well. The cutesy cartoon style highlights the absurdity of it all and suddenly it really works.

@EldritchNexus @sir_onionknight I mean I'm not particularly picky about this kind of stuff. Reimaginings are fine and not everything has to be exactly the same. However it does look like he's wearing some padding here.

It's unhealthy how excited I am to see a Knuckles in this style with Idris Elba's voice coming out of it. I don't even care if the movie sucks, that's going to be amazing.

Twilight Princess talks about how there was once an ancient race who lived in cities in the sky, and when you go up there it’s all these freaky half-bird people. Now I have played through the prequel Skyward Sword all I can ask is WHO FUCKED THEIR LOFTWING? Own up!
