One of my favorite tools I've made in Krita is a simple inker with no anti-aliasing. Working in monochrome at high dpi makes inking decisions easy.

It reminds me of working in Manga Studio 3 -- the best inking app of all time. Nothing has compared since.

That was a fun experiment. I'm happy with the texture if nothing else. And I wanted to not rely on my usual palette of super saturated secondary and tertiary colors, which I mostly accomplished.

Finished!

Kept the color count low. I wanted to get a lot out of a small color ramp that relied on desaturated, complimentary colors to stretch out the limited values present. Kinda like pixel art.

Working on some sample art for my forthcoming Krita brushes. This is the plantient class from Mutant Crawl Classics. Inks are done, now I'm figuring out my color palette.
