Pencils, inks, wash.

Inks are done. Washes are starting. This piece is lighter on lines and will largely use washes to define the planes of the face.

I leaned heavier on the washes than I usually do, so I did a quick edit and toned down the amount of feathering and hatching for this one.

If the lines are heavy, your wash should be light. If the wash is heavy, you may want to hold back on how much lifting your lines do, IMO.

Couldn’t sleep. Didn’t feel like working, either, but arting is my default self-distraction setting, so I finished a few illustrations for my ttrpg NPC book.
