This is turning out to be an odd project. The script is ready; all the dialogue is written. And yet as I draw, it's almost as if the characters are speaking more clearly with their gestures. Maybe this should be a silent comic 🤔

Monster Mash (3/?)
Censoring this panel a little bit for Twitter. In the printed version, this spider/hag monster will require certain anatomical features to fully portray a feeling of shock, disgust and horror 🤔

Lots of people enjoyed my piece from last night. That's great! I strongly recommend checking out the work of Ayami Kojima, who was a huge inspiration. Also be sure to play Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, one of the greatest games ever made!

Colorized last night's piece a bit for this morning's warmup. Makes me want to completely redo it in color 😅 Unfortunately there's no time right now, got to get Mari Sue Volume 2 launched!

The most important job of concept art is getting the tone" correct. Once colors, lighting, and composition are established, the rest of the work is just filling in details. That's where I have the most fun 😁

Complete! As always, plenty of work can still be done, but then I'd never get the rest of the book finished 😅
