My first real attempt at a flower.
A tiny study based on a random stock image and the first time I've worked on canvas texture for a while. It has its good and bad points. It softens up the image nicely but its so difficult to render with precision

@Davidjsalter @ktboldy Digital, oils and mixed media. I think there are a few similarities. I tend to opt for similar lighting and stable compositions.

I love watching the timelapse videos of people working, but I have no idea how to do it. Can anyone let me know an easy method?
The best I can do for now is stills from each stage. Drawing, colour wash, tonal enhance and final paint.
