The blank Bot-Face wasn't cutting it for me so tried my hand at humanising them a little bit, although I prefer the term 'Ninja-fication'
@selewidev Thank you. I've made tons. Think the Rhino guy is my favourite
Tried to keep all the colours in Car Pool consistent with the colour of Pool Balls, but in the end I swapped out the Brown colour for a Pink one. Two reasons. First lots more people like Pink. Secondly at best the car looked like it was made of chocolate; At worst, Shit
Final #DoubleDragon Mode B comparison shot for the night. Left is big ol' Willy #Arcade & tiny Willy #NES. Right is my first try at Willy which was... disappointing, & the final version with head from #NES. Admittedly it took a while to tweak my Willy (ahem) #Innuendo #InYOURendO
The original #NES #DoubleDragon Mode B Abobo sprite was pretty small. Same sprite used in the single player Mode A. I've stretched him to make him more intimidating when he fights the other Mode B characters. Would like him bigger but could loose some of his cherub like charm
@Jayextee About to launch a free webgame on my site. Based on a Tetris knock off I made for the company I used to work for but reskinned with cute animated Toads. Be up to play once my web guy bud gets back from holiday. Probably too easy for you though, I simplified it for the kids
Think I've finished this Rhino Guy. Shame I have a strict naming convention for this game concept or I'd call him Kevin the Rhino Guy.
Back on programming duties for Car-Pool tonight, after having a month off. I say 'a month off' but I spent nearly all of that month working on new graphics. Like our Lego Evel Knievel here
Also #Indiedevhour, been real busy making all our new cars. I know 6 isn't many, but was tough going with just the single car version of Car-Pool, so this is as brave as I can possibly be. It's seven cars if you add the Police Car (not pictured). #gamedev #voxel
