Small references of Cyrus. I'm still not too happy with his design, but I need to settle on one soon lol. He's a cuttlefish, so I imagine they look similar to inklings/squids, but have wavier features. (like real cuttlefish)

I don't have a name for him yet, but I got into this enough to come up with a catchphrase and pose for him. 😅 I'm tempted to go all out and make him the leader of a cheesy octo boy band, but we'll see... lol

This is so old, but it's the first time I officially drew The Vid-Squids together! (Benji and Linus' designs changed a lot since then...)
It didn't age well, but I still like the idea, and kinda want to redraw it 🤔 (plus, we have a real in-game arcade now!)

That baby Linus reminded me that I've been meaning to draw younger Austin! For Austin, growing up was hard because of his unusual tents, making him an outcast. But he would escape it all by reading comic books, and having the company of his pet sea slug and best friend, Leo.

My art summary for 2017! Splatoon really took over... This year had a really good start with my drawings, but I can't help but feel like my art fell flat starting mid-year. (was also a stressful year in my life 😥) I want to experiment more and diversify in 2018!...
