Austin's long-hair-days, and his descent into arcade fever soon after. I'll just say that it had a... shocking... impact on him 🤔

(The last pic was inspired by some of the weird postures people got into when using arcade machines??)

Some buddies know how deep I went into putting these little hints into my drawings and the details of his Splatoon design; like his curly, octo-like napes, and later on, purple pupils, and rounded ears. I remember making the 1st pic here and thinking, "NOOO IT'S TOO OBVIOUS" 😂😂

Austin's belt may seem like just another 80s thing about his design, but I was reminded that it's actually a remnant from his Splatoon days... Like in a VERY specific way, where that belt was a hint at his mom's/octoling heritage!! (Very old art to prove it's been a Thing 😂)

Looking through old sketches from the past year+, and rediscovered some old/scrapped character concepts, from when Jordan was a boarder instead of a skater, to some lame edgy phase Austin was going to have. Last one still has relevant lore, I'll probably redraw it at some point🤔

I'm sorry that I keep doing this, but I tweaked a few things that were bothering me.😳Still could be better, but for my peace of mind, the fixed ver. will live here too
