It's a bit cliche, but Iori really is such a cool edgy asshole. Like, everything about this character should fall under "trying too hard" but somehow he makes it work.

Leona has a good blend of pathos and cool mentality, along with a really cool play style. She's a charge character, but with enough unique properties that combos "make sense" in terms of their flow. Also bomb earring is great

Charlotte from Samurai Shodown was one of my first forays into the "lady knight" trope and she still is one of the best in my book

That said, similar to the Nick fighter with Toph, if they add Lapis Lazuli, then I'll definitely give it a shot.
